The Nominating Committee is an Ad Hoc Committee appointed by the Board Chair, comprised of several Board of Director members, that is responsible for identifying, vetting, and selecting candidates for the upcoming year’s Officers of the Board of Directors.

Their role includes assessing leadership needs, ensuring the diversity of skills and experience, facilitating the selection process, and supporting good agency governance by aligning leadership with the organization’s strategic goals.

There are no virtual meeting options for this meeting;

However, depending on the content of the meeting it may lead into a Closed Meeting, pursuant to the Exclusions to application of chapter as outlined in the Code of Virginia – Chapter 37. Virginia Freedom of Information Act.
