The Boxwood Treatment Center is an inpatient treatment facility for individuals desiring inpatient care for substance use.

Who is this service for?

Our services are available to all residents of Virginia who are experiencing challenges from substance use that wish to improve their quality of life. Clients that reside in ECS’ service area of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties will be screened locally. If your client lives outside this service area, they must first be screened by the Community Services Board (CSB) in their county of residence. You can find the appropriate CSB using the Virginia CSB Directory.

The Boxwood Treatment Center is a state of the art in-patient substance use treatment facility for individuals 18 and above.

Individuals interested in receiving inpatient substance use care will be appropriately screened through Encompass Community Supports. Treatment is individualized, and self-directed, with a variety of treatment offerings to get well and stay well.

The Boxwood Treatment Center is a non-smoking facility. Nicotine harm reduction opportunities are available.

If you or someone you care about is experiencing a mental health crisis or substance use emergency, Encompass Community Supports is here to help—24/7. Our Crisis Services Team provides immediate, compassionate support to help you feel safe, stabilize your situation, and connect with ongoing resources. A qualified mental health professional will listen to your concerns, assess your unique needs, and work with you to create a plan to de-escalate your crisis. Our services are short-term but focused on making sure you get the right care at the right time. Our Crisis Services include crisis stabilization, crisis supervision, and crisis intervention. We provide crisis services regardless of ability to pay at the time of service. When possible, we bill your insurance provider for the cost of care.
